These 2 boards came from a very old early 80’s IBM Mainframe, I believe they are RAM. These two boards are identical, except one has 160 double-stacked gold-capped and legged ceramic chips and the other has 160 double-stacked plastic chips. Total weight of the plastic version is 16.9 ounces or 478 grams. Total weight of the gold version is 19.4 ounces or 550 grams. That’s a difference of 2.5 ounces, or 70 grams between the gold and non-gold circuit board. Thats as close as my scale can get it.
